Case history: small details, perfect result

This is how we responded to the requests of WorkWear Italia*, a customer who needed high visibility jacket tapes that had to respect the specifications of the EN 20471 standard.

*In order to protect its privacy, the name of the company has been replaced with a fancy one.

Who

WorkWear Italia is a company that has been manufacturing and supplying workwear and safety equipment to Italian and foreign manufacturing and construction companies for over thirty years. The strength of the company is the attention to the products - made only with high quality raw materials - and the study of new technologies applied to the garments to ensure high comfort and safety.

What

WorkWear Italia took part in a tender for the supply of high visibility vests and they needed:

Both had to be in line with the specifications of EN 20471.

How

WorkWear Italia logged into their personal area on our website to check our catalogue and decided to contact us to receive a quote of the ribbons for the tender.

We analysed the requests of the specifications and identified all the materials necessary to comply with the requirements and to give the client the opportunity to participate in the tender.

We therefore proposed four types of ribbons that could be used for their high visibility jackets:

Reflective tapes
Edging tapes
Tear-off tapes (with Velcro)
Sealing tapes

These are reflex tapes specifically designed for the workwear sector and you can check them in the reserved area through the filter search.

These ribbons are the result of the Re-Light Technology, a line of tapes developed by MARC to allow workers to be clearly visible even when there is a poor light and are available in 13 variants for workwear.

Result

MARC supplied WorkWear Italia with the above mentioned tapes on time and the customer won the tender for the supply of high visibility vests.
